Mormor.nu Hand Knit Wool Knud Sweater – Cinnamon Tops & Sweaters

This sweater must be the perfect children’s sweater for autumn and winter. In the autumn in can be used instead of a jacket and in the winter under a jacket, where the sleeves function as half mittens and the collar functions as a neck warmer without the risk of actually losing it.

The sweater is named after the polar researcher Knud Rasmussen because we were inspired by the sweater that he wore to the North Pole in 1921. The model ended up being rather different, but the pattern is the same. Despite its name, the sweater is meant for both girls and boys.

Measurements are approximate, (as hand knits vary a little) and are taken in centimeters with the garment lying flat:

Hand-knit in by Danish Grannies Denmark with very soft and light 100% soft highland wool.
